Jeremy Brook commenced practice in law in Wellington in 1976 with the Wellington City Council. After travelling overseas and working in Rotorua he came to Hamilton in 1981. He has been a partner in Tanner Fitzgerald Getty and commenced practice on his own in 2003. His expertise is in the areas of commercial property, residential conveyancing, education, eldercare, rural conveyancing commercial leases, subdivisions, company matters and franchise agreements.
Jeremy’s hobbies and interests include vintage cars and small block farming. He has been involved in community organisations including a board of trustee member for Hillcrest High and Hamilton East schools and is actively involved in Rotary as well as other charitable organisations.
Michael Hunwick joined the firm as a consultant in 2007. Born in Hamilton, he has extensive general practice experience, having worked in Auckland and then Hamilton, originally in a Trustee company and then with his own firm over the past 24 years. His areas of experience are residential and commercial conveyancing, wills and trusts, financial and estate planning law. He has a particular interest in trusts and their administration.
Michael's other interests outside of the gym, walking and sailing are in the areas of technology, especially computer graphics, design and marketing. He is also a keen artist with an interest in all forms of art and craft, but particularly art history.
He is married with two children, who share his interests in sport, technology and the arts.
